Jennifer Velarde better know as "JV" is a Mexican-American rap artist from Downey, California. Signed to Thump Records in 1993, her first album "Nayba'Hood Queen" was released the same year and it made her name pretty popular all over California, New Mexico, Arizona and other surrounding states. She stayed with Thump Records for one more album, "It Gets No Reala".
