Biographyby James Christopher MongerThe North Carolina-based roots rock collective Truth & Salvage Co. formed in 2005 around the talents of guitarist/vocalist Tim Jones, keyboardist/vocalist Walker Young, guitarist/vocalist Scott Kinnebrew, drummer/vocalist Bill Smith, keyboard player Adam Grace, and bassist Joe Edel. Boasting four singer/songwriters and a history that spanned the East and West Coasts, the group's unique blend of Southern rock and indie pop was honed in Los Angeles and perfected in the mountains of North Carolina. The group's eponymous debut album was produced by Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes and released on Silver Arrow Records in November 2009.
