Graduated  from Tokyo College of Music, Faculty of Instrumental Music (Oboe).  Played the accordion ever since her childhood under influence of her  father. Began composing theatrical music since 1983. Was  deeply moved upon hearing Raul Barboza, the great exponent of chamamé  music, perform in Japan. Went to Paris to study with Maestro Raul  Barboza. Acquired the spirit of chamamé playing from the Maestro. Began  her chamamé performance activities in 1999. Is currently performing at  several live concert houses in Tokyo, and at the same time is  introducing chamamé music to the Japanese public through television,  radio and newspaper media.Released  her first original CD album "Kaze ga tadotta michi (El Camino del  Viento; The Path left by the Wind; KICC-396)" from King Records on 26  Feb. 2003.Is highly valued as an artist who heats up the hearts of many an audience.
