Renz Verano released his debut album, Renz Verano, in 1995, and each of the album's ten songs is a ballad. Verano has a fine voice, and sings in a sincere, passionate manner. Six of the album's ten songs are adaptations of international songs, but contain new lyrics written in Tagalog, the Philippines' national language. Filipinos are quite fond of American/European music, and remakes of this type are popular, if not very original.
