Phaze3 is an R&B musical trio that hails from Long Island, NY. The group, founded in 2007, consists of three young men: Anthony "ATL" Lawrence (22), Jason Hightower (24), and Shelton "Shelton J" Johnson (20). Each member brings a different set of talents and traits to the group, which adds to the dynamism created when they come together on their tracks. Although compared to R&B acts like 112, Jodeci, Jagged Edge, and Dru Hill, their music tells the stories of their lives and relationships with a contemporary twist. The trio started out by performing during open mic nights and competing in local talent shows. From there they've gained the attention of musical greats like Troy Taylor, Andre Harrell, Chuck D of Public Enemy, Trey Songz, Memphis Bleek, and more. The group credits their strong family background and upbringing for their initial success, and they look forward to embarking on a prosperous career making music that will not only touch their fans, but live on for ages.
