peter martinsson group was founded in 2011. after years of writing and recording songs with just virtual instruments and the guitar, peter decided to contact his old friend, drummer ulf becker. they started to work together again and ulf really added more life to peters songs. next step was to find a bassplayer and per-martin pettersson was the man. per-martin is an old friend to both peter and ulf, so it was just perfect. a power trio was born.Janne Stark, a swedish guitar player and columnist at FUZZ magazine happend to hear some songs with p m g and contacted Joe Romagnola at Grooveyard Records and he liked what he heard. a huge thank you Janne! p m g sended about twenty songs to Joe and he picked twelve of them and offered p m g to make a record. guitar state of mind is the result of this coorporation. p m g is very glad to get this opportunity to spread their music all over the globe. p m g really belive there is a place and time for all kinds of music and that p m g's music will find their listeners all over the world.
