She sings a mix of classic jazz standards and beautifully crafted originals which she performs with a wonderful sense of melody and swing. Her debut album, Legacy, was well received and led to appearances on national TV and radio as well as gigs at both the Montreal and Vancouver Jazz Festivals. Tammy has written with Grammy Award winner Terry Britten (Tina Turner), Tim Fraser (Lulu), and Tom Cawley (Peter Gabriel), for her new album Where I Need to Be, which was released at a sold out Ronnie Scotts Club in March 2010. She has been heard on Radio stations across the country; including Jamie Cullums show on BBC Radio Two and she has recently been nominated for London Jazz Vocalist 2010. Her London highlights include; meeting HRM the Queen in June of this year, supporting the Canadian Tenors with Hayley Westenra at the Union Chapel, performing with Randy Bachman at Pizza on the Park, Bobby McFerrin at Royal Festival Hall and Jamie Cullum at the Jazz Cafe to name a few "Gives me the shivers..."
