Country of origin:United StatesLocation:Howell, New JerseyStatus:ActiveFormed in:2003Genre:Black/Thrash MetalLyrical themes:Alcohol, Mythology, Black MetalCurrent label:Born of Chaos RecordsYears active:2003-presentThe band has gone through several configurations before coming to where it is today. The original configuration was Graveless Carcass on vocals and rhythm guitar, Asmodious on lead guitar and bass, and Beheader on drums. Bassist Demogorgon was soon brought in to handle the bass for live work originally, but later became a permanent member. Beheader was injured for a period of time and Jorge of War Crime was brought in to play the drums live temporarily. After about a month though, he was back playing drums again. Graveless Carcass left soon after due to disagreements with the band. He came back in a short period of time though. In that small time period, Asmodious handled the vocals and lead guitar. Demogorgon handled the rhythm guitar while Hessian guitarist Melkor came in to handle bass. Graveless Carcass soon rejoined the band afterwards, and the Alcoholic Darkness demo was soon recorded afterwards. Graveless Carcass did not pick up the guitar again. A few weeks later Melkor went to handling the rhythm guitar and Demogorgon went back to playing the bass. This configuration has been decided as the permanent configuration for Anticosm.
