Australian violinist Sarita Kwok began an illustrious career at just 15 when she was named the James Fairfax Sydney Symphony Orchestra Young Artist. Ms. Kwok went on to win Australia’s most prestigious musical award: ‘The Symphony Australia Young Performer of the Year (Strings)’. As a soloist and chamber collaborator, Ms. Kwok has been featured at the Rockport Chamber Music Festival, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Thayer Academy Winter Series, Hebron Academy and Temple Emanuel Chamber Series, Hammond Performing Arts Series and on WGBH public radio. This season she performed on the Concert des Lauréats de l’Académie de Lausanne, Switzerland and was nationally broadcast by Suisse Romande radio. Ms. Kwok currently serves on the faculty of the Yale Department of Music and is the Coordinator for the Undergraduate Lessons Program at the Yale School of Music. Ms. Kwok is on the roster of the Swiss Global Artistic Foundation.Italian-born violist Ettore Causa was awarded both the P. Schidlof Prize and the John Barbirolli Prize for the most beautiful sound at the prestigious Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition in England in 2000 He has since made solo and recital appearances in many of the major venues around the world. Mr. Causa was a member of the Aria Quartet (2004–2009) and currently plays in the Poseidon Quartet. He is frequently invited to chamber music festivals where he has performed with such internationally renowned musicians as the Tokyo String Quartet, Pascal Rogé, Boris Berman, Thomas Adès, Ana Chumachenco, Natalie Clein, Alberto Lysy, Thomas Demenga, Anthony Marwood, Ulf Wallin, William Bennett, and others. Mr. Causa taught at the International Menuhin Music Academy for many years and was appointed to the Yale School of Music faculty in 2009. Among his recording, both the Brahms Sonatas and the collection of Romantic pieces were highly praised by critics worldwide. Ettore plays on a viola made for him by Frédéric Chaudière in 2003.Violinist Julie Eskar is currently the concertmaster of the Danish National Chamber Orchestra and has performed as a soloist with several orchestras in Denmark and abroad. Ms. Eskar is also a founding member of the Eskar Trio, an international award-winning ensemble. In 2003, the Trio released a critically acclaimed CD of works by Ravel and Chausson which The Strad magazine praised lavishly and described as “outstanding.” Ms. Eskar studied under Milan Vitek at the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen and with Professor Gerhard Schultz at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna.A native of Grasse, France, cellist Alexandre Lecarme joined the Boston Symphony Orchestra at the start of the 2008-09 season. Mr. Lecarme graduated with the Premier Prix de Violoncelle from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in 1997. He holds the Artist Diploma and Master of music degrees from Boston University as a recipient of a Cohen Foundation grant and a Dean’s scholarship. His major tea
