澳洲的新晋乐队，Sigur Ros与Beirut类似的结合体。This is a new discovery, a 6 piece rock band from Australia featuring the energy of arena folks acts like Mumford & Sons or Arcade Fire but with the relief of novelty in their female vocal….. The songs feature moments of emphatic driving percussion that recall the work of Other Lives to me… It’s excellent musicianship and thoughtful composition, but the female vocals (backed up by yet another ethereally lovely female vocal, which then recalls moments by The Middle East) is what allows Founds to transcend my mere appreciation, and get stuck on solid relatability – wanttobeability….. emulatable and loveable. Plus….. a nostalgia that harkens the electronic singery abstract exploration of Enya in the early 90s.
