Major Mae 是来自上海的流行电子组合。成员：郑诗慧Megan Zheng 主音/词曲梅卓Mei Zhuo 乐器/制作     Major Mae（梅少校）的名字来源于David Bowie的知名单曲Space Oddity. 汤姆少校代表人类探索未知的宇宙，最后与地面塔台失去联系，失踪在浩渺的星辰中，成为了浪漫而悲壮的人类先驱。      郑诗慧大学主修英语，后转行成为模特，热爱文学和诗歌，外向而情绪化，喜欢写歌创作，疏于练琴；梅卓从小学习美术，安静而内敛，喜欢探索各种各样的音乐形式，经过在上海独立音乐产业的多年积累，已逐渐成为一名成熟的综合性独立音乐人。      两人的音乐喜好完全不同，本无交集，无意中一起写了一首歌，发现彼此可以相互理解，对方擅长的正是自己所缺乏的，两个人原本水火不容的对立面，恰能形成绝佳的平衡感，于是Major Mae成立。而两个人所写的第一首歌，就是Major Mae的首发单曲《你是否还爱着那小小的心碎》。      Major Mae的首张专辑《日落之后，日出之前》（"After Sunset; Before Sunrise")正在紧张的制作过程中。他们会在社交网站上持续更新乐队的最新动态。     Major Mae is an Independent Electronic-pop Duet based in Shanghai. Its band members includes Megan Zheng(vocal/songwriting) and Mei Zhuo( instrumental/songwriting/production)       "Major Mae" is an Independent Electronic-pop Duet based in Shanghai. The name "Major Mae" was inspired by David Bowie's epidemic hit song "Space Oddity" which features Major Tom, a fictional astronaut who's the first human ever to set foot in the unknown universe. He lost contact with ground control and disappeared into the unbounded depth of Space. Major Tom was a martyr and a pioneer,a symbol of human compassion and romanticism, which is also the core of the duet's musical concept.        The two band members are two complete opposites. Megan studied English Literature in college but accidentally ended up being a model. Outgoing and emotional,she likes to create but hates practice. Artistic and consistent, Mei Zhuo has a rather reserved disposition. He is fascinated with exploring new forms of musical instruments and pushing the boundaries of music making. After years of performing and producing in the Shanghai Indie Industry, he is gradually growing into a mature and comprehensive musician.       With different attitudes towards music and life, it's hard to imagine these two would ever get together; yet they did, after a causal jam session they wrote their first song and found out that they completely understand each other and their lethal differences forged into a perfect harmony of ice and fire. This is the beginning of Major Mae,and the first song they wrote together is their first release "Are you still in love with a little heartbreak" .       Right now, Major Mae is going through producing sessions of their debut album "After Sunset; Before Sunrise" . They will keep updating upcoming projects which allows the audience to sneak a peak at their music life.
