The Joint Compound is a scattered but somehow congealed anomaly that just might make you bafflingly tilt your head like a dog. THIS- my debut EP,"Please Don't Leave Get Out", is the result of the first phase of my post- touring rock band drummer metamorphosis into who fucking knows what. For my first record I felt it necessary to mine, dig up and then chop up some feelings I've felt after getting dumped by record labels, managers, sadly parting ways with my longtime bandmates, relationships gone south, friends and loved ones dying.. To create music that allowed me to express my desire to reside in some barely cozy place.. far from boring, but not completely insane.. deep enough to stretch my legs but also shallow enough for me to somehow breathe..
