Mainstream EDM has, in my opinion, been infected by somewhat under skilled copycat EDM producers. They can’t be classified as trance producers either as it is simply not trance. I say this with respect to my peers but unfortunately….it is true. Too many tracks are being rushed through the process with limited connection and 3 Chord choruses and unfortunately even the big names have allowed these sounds to penetrate their sets. All for a quick buck!?
