This new 2010 version of"Cry, Baby, Cry" features new keyboards by Roger Joseph Manning, Jr. (Jellyfish, Imperial Drag, Moog Cookbook, TV Eyes, Malibu) and is mixed by Chris Manning (also an original member of Jellyfish).The original version of"Cry, Baby, Cry" is found on Gene Michael Best's 2005 release"Real". In the summer of 2009, Best and co-producer/engineer John Herrera (A440 recording artist Turning Point's drummer) discussed remixing and remastering select tracks from the former's debut CD. As the project progressed, its scope grew to deconstructing and re-building certain tracks with new ideas and sensibilities.In addition to"Cry, Baby, Cry", Best has also released a 2010 version of"Kaleidoscope Sky" as another CD single.
