Chanel Shelene Benjamin aka Speedy is a name you should store in your memory deck. Standing a little above 5 feet tall I am known for my charm, witty attitude, sarcasm, spontaneous habits and bold appearance. I grab life with both hands; a collector of exclusive items, hard working, creative and I love constructive criticism. I was raised in Harlem and my interest has always been recording my feelings and opinions on paper. I am driven by my passion for basketball and musical expression following not too far behind. My first book of poetry entitled Submerged Ingenious is a collection of my inner genius, my perceptions of life and my intellectual thoughts. I am focused on fulfilling my dreams and aspire to be all that I will become while utilizing my many talents. I have a keen interest in sneakers, shopping and overall having a good time. I set high goals for myself because I love accomplishing tasks that seem to be impossible.
