Kyra Alana began her singing at a young age in advanced & honors sections of school choirs. Now in college, she has recently begun collaborating in occasional studio-recordings with local & regional artists. Her vocal style is largely influenced by Jazz greats such as Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, & Chet Baker, but her inspiration comes from a much wider range of personal favorites spanning diverse artists such as Leonard Cohen, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, Styx, Anjani Thomas, Madeleine Peyroux, Lana Del Rey, James Darren, Ruth Wallis, Blossom Dearie, and Robert Johnson.
