This song originated from an idea DT had for an animated film. This song, and all the other songs on the first album, were recorded on an 8-track Ampex tape recorder using 2" tape. All the overdubbing and layering on the finale chorus of this song were made possible thanks to the expertise of David Smallwood. Quite a feat back then for 8-track tape technology.
