It was definitely hard for me to pick the five songs that would make it onto this EP, but after choosing the songs, the order that they needed to be in was very clear. I really love songs that tell a story, so it made sense to me to put these songs in an order that tells a story within itself. The first track off of this EP is a song called “DANGEROUS.” This is a song I wrote literally in the basement of my dorm room my freshman year while I was doing laundry. It’s a song about falling for a guy you know is bad from the start, but hanging on because you love the rush. And you know you’re bound to end up with a broken heart, but you swear you can’t let him go because all the “CITIES AND STATES” you could run to just serve as reminders of him. But the thing about the dangerous guy is that he always leaves, and when he does, he always leaves his mark. It’s like the littlest things he leaves behind, like maybe an “OAK NIGHT STAND,” that used to seem so insignificant now carry the most pain with them. But the good
