Amasong is a group of women dedicated to singing music by, for, and about women. We will sing anything that meets our definition of excellence. We especially enjoy singing songs from Africa and the Balkans, but we especially enjoy unique arrangements of familiar songs---look for our versions of"Shenendoah,""Strange Fruit," and"Shady Grove" for examples. We even have a recording of our version of a deep listening piece from the legendary Pauline Oliveros ("Wind Horse").
