These songs were written from the backwoods of Upstate New York. They are fun and catchy. Some of them are ear worms that you just can’t get out of your head. Like most singer songwriters, I am inspired by my own experiences, as well as things I hear, see, read, etc.They are meant to be inspiring and lighthearted. Even the songs with negative connotations, are meant to be tongue in cheek. Here are some brief meanings of the songs from my own point of view.1.Whatever I Damn Well Please - Obviously about doing things your way, on your terms. My anthem.2.Bud-Tastic - A play on words for a guy and (fill in your favorite term for the green stuff with THC). Written for a cool old hippie friend of mine when he was down and out. Ironically his nickname is Bud. I hope everyone feels this way after hearing it. This song is not meant to inspire you to go fire up your bong.3.I Wanna... - A sexy innuendo song about wanting to do it.4.All The Time - About soulmates.5.Breakup Blues - This is about bad experiences in relationships. Breaking up sucks, and we can all relate to it.6.For So Long - This is about desire, longing, and a glimmer of hope. A second chance.7.Girls Ain't Nothing - Inspired by a funny thing I heard in a TV show. I was going to write the song from both sexes point of view, but I stuck to my gut and left it as I originally wrote it. You need to have a sense of humor with this one. Singing it to your wife, or girlfriend probably won’t help your love life.8.Damn You - An odd way of complementing someone who means everything to you.9.Thrown It All Away  - Coming to the conclusion in your life when you are alone from bad choices.10.Drinkin' With My Friends - An inspiring song to strive to always get back to the place where you can just sit, laugh, and drink with your friends.11.You're Gone - Not about being sad from losing someone, but being extremely happy.12.Run Esteban, Run - About risking your life to cross the US/Mexican border.13.Between These Walls - A song about dying from a broken heart, or contemplating suicide.14.The Afterlife - About missing someone you’ve lost. I put this song last on the album because on a loop, it brings me right back to Whatever I Damn Well Please; in which I mention losing my sister, my best friend, and father. It reminds me to always move onward and upward, but never forget those we've known and loved.
