These three mc/producers met at a swap meet in East Oakland. After a serious rap battle, two blunts,a bottle of Hennessy and a wrestling match, they decided to form Makk Shades, a dirty funk-rap crew dedicated to bringing back the West Coast sound in a way that all folks could party to. Frontman Makk Rodd, best known for his gritty Oakland street style, holds down the fort while Sick Shades rapper Baby Shark and producer/rapper Trailer Limon keep the swagger on lock. Grind Like the Last Dance is true bay flavor at it's funkiest.
