Originally working on a 3-track demo alongside Brooklyn producer Little Pioneer (Craig Levy), Dan soon realized that he had enough material for a full-length LP. Never wanting to be a solo act, he came up with the name Soapbox Army and began assembling a band.Soapbox Army's self-titled debut was released in April 2009. The album went on to garner many positive reviews as the band began playing shows all over the NYC/Tri-State area, including headlining gigs in prominent venues such as Pianos, Arlene's Grocery and Santos Party House.
