'Take Me To The Leader' was written by the late Peter 'Foz' Foster who was our musical mentor and great friend. It's largely down to Pete that State of Undress exists at all! Pete was a well respected session musician in the 60's and 70's signed to RCA and worked with the likes of Cat Stevens and Ralph McTell among others. Pete wasn't a pacifist. He understood that sometimes you have to fight for what you believe in. However, no matter how just the cause, in war, everybody loses. This song was recorded a few years ago when Pete was still alive and he was thrilled with our version. We are releasing 'Take Me To The Leader' in his memory and all profits from sales of the single will be donated equally between War Child and The British Legion. We know he would approve!
