What A Dream means ~ StyllPeople ask me all the time about making it BIG...and what success means to me. Money, fame, a financial outlook and future? Being able to eat, pay your bills, take care of your family. The honest answer would be all the above right? But the answer for me means something far greater than all those things.To understand this you must understand just a little bit of Styll and John Harvans History.To Start The Song StyllStanding is a tribute to John Harvans dear friend Kelly Dorozinsky. Kelly Lost her young life to Colon Cancer. She was misdiagnosed. She was an artist in her own right and loved all kinds of music.Former Manager of Styll Mark Novak recently committed suicide amid persoanl problems which he felt were beyond his grasp. He loved music. He would give you the shirt off his back if needed.A former guitarist and bass player James Rehrig. Jim was very much the closest John Has ever had to a true Brother. Jim performed with John in many bands before John went on to create Styll. Jim is credited with getting John out on the stage and getting Johns original music heard by audiences. Tragically he was killed by a Drunk driver.To Digger Bloom who was a former percussionist and guitar player who was forever injured in a swimming accident,To cousin Hugh who lost his life, To Johns Nannie and Pop, The list goes on and on....Some have moved on by the fate of others some have just moved on...but does it help you to understand the theme any better?My mission in life is to succeed for those who will never be able to dream, who didn't have or know how to dream, or whose dreams were cut way too short. I dream for the Angels that surround us here and beyond.This dream far exceeds the hopes of one.Everytime I perform it is for the memories of those who are gone, for those that I knew , those I didnt know, and for those that I will know one day.Keep Dreaming and Believing.
