Roshashana which is interpreted; head of the year, is the Jewish new year, and this track was written at the beginning of 1997 when the artist lived on a roof top apartment in Tel-Aviv, whereas brixham aire was written way down in the Devonshire west country of England, and this track also conveys a grave mesmeric feeling, capable of carrying off mind and thoughts into faraway realms. Enlightenment was the very last track to be written, started out as an experiment using a Turkish stringed instrument, and it gave birth to a very beautiful piece of work, easy listening and pleasing to the ears. The icing on the cake of this tasty album features the artwork of the artist’s 10yr old son.
