Now that I am a senior songwriter I feel free to draw inspiration and tools not only from several decades of exposure to popular music, but also from the many lessons I have acquired from life's experiences. This group of songs focuses on the ups and down, the joys and sorrows and the victories as well as defeats, acquired from experience and observation of the human concept of"Romantic Love". I know there is no shortage of such songs, books and movies, but how can we ever grow tired of such a universal human experience and how it evolves as our societies and cultures evolve. My observation of the people of the world via social media has revealed to me just how universal our feelings are: we are much more alike than different when it comes to personal love. The expression of this is vividly displayed on the internet.
