For me personally, this has happened as I've studied worship in the Bible. Tehillah is an Old Testament word that is used most often to describe praise in biblical text. Broken down, Tehillah means"a spontaneous new song". This type os worship is where God's presence literally sits. Much of what was recorded in the Psalms are spontaneous songs from David's Tabernacle in the Old Testament. These spontaneous songs came out of the psalmists' personal lives and walks with God. I cannot tell you how often I am drawn to the Psalms for what I am facing in my life. Jesus was so moved by them that it's the book he quoted the most.We hope that our model of the Psalms in modern worship reaches out and touches you as you listen to these CDs.
