International DIY blog Dingus stumbled upon Former Apophenia's Guitarists (Nadeem Ahmed) solo incarnation months before the band had retired. When he released his debut solo record the acclaimed Boston-based blog Alston Pudding had discovered the record and placed Against the Waves on their October Mix Tape. Despite the interest of the online community, it wasn't until artist Nadeem Ahmed returned to his hometown of Brooklyn, NY that the project formed into a full band. What you are hearing now is the result of months of traveling, recording in hotels, apartments, and bedrooms, a type of moving artwork of music.
