Zillawilla plays a unique blend of original upbeat R&B. The core is a funky soul groove developed by founding members John (bass) and Steve (drums). Vocalist/lyricist/percussionist Nicole sounds like a modern day Peggy Lee. Chris (guitar) and Nathan (sax) bring an improvisational jazz influence. Together for about a year, the band has been playing out on the Jersey Shore circuit winning over new fans with their impressive original songs and offbeat renditions of obscure cover tunes.
