Torn Shorts is a blues rock band out of Rhode Island. Since their inception in 2011, the band has seen a quite a few changes in personnel. However, primary songwriter and singer Josh Grabert serves as the steady rock and leader of the group. Graberts writing style serves as a mirror and expose for the life of a working class hero in post-industrial Providence.This long awaited album"Be My Mechanic" comes as a follow up to"Through The Mill", the 2013 release from Torn Shorts. This record features stronger rock n' roll and blues elements as well as a live and organic recording style. Recorded at Big Red Studios in Pawtucket RI, the album features Josh Grabert on guitar, vocals and percussion; Nick Molak on guitar; Zach Zarcone on bass, vocals, piano, percussion and guitar; Chris Ardoin on drums and Brendan Moore on piano, keyboards and organ.
