While he never claims to be a blues musician, Brandon Bowman gets the impression that his music is heavily influenced by blues, but he doesn't think it's worthy of the title blues."Crosshairs Breed Tears" is about a collegiate kid at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana who was shot dead by the police department and the fall out that happened afterwards. Jeff Lauer plays drums on"Purple" and Tripp Irish, from Anchor Recordings, plays bass on"New Touch Danger".
