Friend Factory is Brooklyn musician Michael Dillenberger. He crafts tight, structured songs, propelled by strong melodies. Guitars, bass & drums sit comfortably alongside casios, glockenspiels, mellotrons, tambourines & sound effects. Vocal harmonies are abundant, and the lyrics tell stories that are relatable, yet wholly original. Also, he's not afraid to rock out from time to time. Michael grew up in Minneapolis listening to indie rock and gangsta rap. Film school took him to New York, where he's been ever since. He's been in various bands since Jr High, learning by doing, culminating in his current solo project, Friend Factory. Friend Factory has recorded several albums, but they were really all just warm-ups for the current release"You'll Get Nothing And Like It." The album takes everything they've tried in the past and melds it seamlessly into one unified statement, each of its 11 songs painting a picture with sound.
