Eliwagar was created back in december 2006 by Runahild, who remains the only official member of this porject as she is the one to write all music and lyrics. Runahild recorded 2 Neofolk cds"And The Ancestral Pagan Flame Shall Never Fade" and"Fjellfolk Saga Fra Forntiden" playing all instruments herself (mostly flute, drums, concertina and some keyboards). She met her husband Bjørn Dahl in 2010 and he became session guitarist, together they recorded 2 other Neofolk cds"Sagn Fra Nordafolkets Land" and"Fra Hjertet Av Norden", this time with only Norwegian lyrics (while the 2 previous releases were in English and German) and Runahild got a Hardanger Fiddle (traditional norwegian fiddle).With"Gryningen", Eliwagar comes with her first album of Pagan Folk Rock/Metal after these 4 previous cds of pure Neofolk.
