Pale Rider rips my face off! An instant classic. Hellbent and Demonseed are close seconds ! Dirk's bass playing is awesome. I love that he plays seperate bass lines and doesnt just follow the guitars or bang away on the root note. Drummer extrordinair Michael Ehré does a fantastic job as expected. Kai's vocals are mean and gritty when needed yet can hit the high notes with the best all while playing guitar no less! Henjo shreds! He is so under rated. I would love to see Henjo on the cover of Guitar World. He truely deserves it. I love that Gamma Ray isnt justa 4/4 speed band. Obviously they have their faster songs, but I love their almost progish elements as well, showing they are more diverse than the run of the mill power metal band. And thats why they continue to set the bar for the rest to follow. An excellent CD. However I must admit for me, it still doesnt top Majestic which is my all time Fav Gamma Ray disc.
