I can't help but write music. I am not the best verbal communcator when it comes to talking about what is going on in my life and I have always turned to music to express the struggles I walk through. Often I hear stories from others that break my heart and I end up writing them in the first person. So is the story with Find Yourself. I was seeing a patient who told me a story about her husband who had decided after 15 years of marriage that he was going to explore his homosexual desires. She was devastated and paralyzed by her anger and the betrayal over his decision to disregard his vows of marriage. Her pain stayed with me for days until I wrote Find Yourself.I write alot about relationships as can be heard in Summer's Gone, Fresh Air, Feel This Love, etc. It's the area of life we all struggle with a one time or another. Also is my life story/testimony set to song. Room 213 is a song of redemption and salvation and the hard times I walked through. It's gritty and hard to face but with a happy ending.I've been around a long time as a singer songwriter and only now starting to get my music out there online for the world to hear.
