Creation's End专辑介绍：Metal, as a whole, is moving in a different direction. It used to be all about three chords, two-minute songs and singing about death and dismemberment. However, Creation’s End’s album, A New Beginning is just that. They’re attempting to change the face of metal as we know it.Their shortest song on their debut album clocks in at just over five and a half minutes. The longest comes in at eleven minutes. But, unlike some songs that drag on and make you want to rip out your own innards, Creation’s End manages to keep the songs interesting and fresh. Each song is different from the last and continues to keep the listener on their toes. With a constant mixture of instruments, time changes and good old-fashioned guitar solos, Creation’s End truly has made A New Beginning.The album starts out with a sound very similar to Styx, with a bit of power metal thrown in. Then, it trudges into something completely new and fresh. Mike Dimeo has a voice traditionally saved for mid-80′s power metal bands, such as White Lion and others. However, in this venture, it all comes together to create a euphoric mix. The album then launches into “Dissociate,” which is a bit slower than the last. However, it quickly picks up and when listening to it, one can almost see it as a flower blooming slowly. The sounds start light and begin to pick up, almost as though a cocoon was erupting.The rest of A New Beginning doesn’t relent. Creation’s End has taken their influences seriously and instead of trying to mock their particular styles, they have meshed them together to create something completely different. Xylophones, keyboards and a menagerie of other instruments come together to create an aural orgasm for the listener.
