Lyrically, the band tackles a variety of topics from racism to the power of the human will and does so with a musical focus on many styles. Progress is produced quite capably and shows that perhaps advancement can indeed be made for bands with horns, although not without sounds of the past. Fans of the upbeat, Orange County, CA, sound will dig this as it is both catchy and worth repeated listens. Other music fans may be weary of the trendy style the band plays, but what they do, the Rx Bandits undoubtedly do well.
